What is Bikram yoga
Bikram yoga is a type of yoga that includes twenty-six different asanas from classical Hatha yoga. The group of scientists from Texas State University invited participants, aged 40 to 60, who were healthy, but not physically active.The first group took ninety-minutes Bikram yoga classes at 105F, three times per week for three months.
The second yoga group practiced the same Bikram yoga at standard room temperature, and the third, control group didn’t practice yoga at all.

The results
It turned out that heat doesn’t improve the effects of Bikram yoga. The researchers found that the health benefits of Bikram yoga seem to stem more from practicing yoga and less from the heat.
However, scientists marked that Bikram yoga in hot environments helps reduce body fat percentage more than yoga in a room with normal temperature.
